Erica Scott: Life, Love and Spanking

Ruminations, opinionated observations, darkly humorous blathering and the occasional rant from an outspoken spanko and unapologetic attention wh–, um, hog.

Hump day already?

Considering that my work is super slow lately, this week is still speeding by. At least I have some fun stuff to post about.

First up, Steve’s visit yesterday. We had to skip last week, so both of us were more than in the mood for some play. My damn phone is acting up and I’m not getting all my texts, among other glitches… Steve sent me a text yesterday morning saying he was stalled at the car dealership where he was getting work done and he’d be at my place at 1:00 instead of 11:00. I didn’t get it, so by 11:45, I was stressing. But then I reached him on the phone and found out about the time change. Argh. The Phone Universe is telling me that I need to upgrade my 2012 Motorola Droid 3. But it has a pull-out keyboard and I hate touch screens! Wahhh! Must. Accept. New. Technology.

I digress. When Steve arrived and we’d caught up with everything, we decided to switch things up and take pictures before we played rather than after, mostly because he liked what I was wearing. We fooled around with lighting and positioning, trying to come up with something fun and different.

Apologies for all the busy-ness around me. And yes, I do have an “Erica” magnet on my desk lamp.

He took several pants-down pics, of course… but it turns out that my new favorite photo is myself is fully clothed. I’ve already posted this on Twitter and Facebook, but y’all just have to put up with it here, too, ’cause I like it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Of course, now we were more than eager to get to our spanking session, and it was deliciously intense. No implements this time, just a whole lot of his hand, which is formidable on its own. “I love that you need this,” he is fond of saying. Yes, I do. So much.

Still can’t believe that we’ll be friends and play partners for four years in just two months!

In other news — I’m figuring everyone knows by now that Alexย and Paul Kennedy are engaged. Last Sunday, Princess Kelley gave her an engagement shower at a tea room. It was so lovely! Lots and lots of tea, all different kinds, plus finger sandwiches and scones and other treats, and wonderful service. Here’s a shot of what Kelley dubbed the “L.A. Brat Pack” — left to right, Harley Havik, Alex, Maddy Marks, Princess Kelley, and yours truly.

Look at us, all classy and stuff in our finery! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m the only one not dressed in spring pastels, but I look dreadful in those colors.

My aforementioned crappy phone takes poor quality photos, but I did snap this one of Alex reacting to the tiers of treats that the server had just brought us. How adorably cute is this?

One sad note: Our friend SpankCake was invited, but she wasn’t able to make it, due to other commitments. We missed you, SC!!

So yeah, my weekend wasn’t all about boring reunions and horrible food. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Happy to report that Chross is alive and well! He posted after being absent for a little over two weeks. What would we do without our Fearless Leader?

Off to continue my mental preparation for a new phone…

Congrats to Alex on her engagement. As for phone I would consider a Samsung Galaxy 6. As for keyboards Logictech has a device that you can place a cell phone or tablet in where you have a physical keyboard. The Galaxy also has voice recognition that works pretty well.

  2. Robert — the Samsung Galaxy is my top choice. And they have a 7 now! I will look into that Logitech device; thank you.

  3. Erica the five of you ‘spanko’s in the photo I would love to give each of you ‘six of the best’, with my cane on your bare bottoms. I can dream can’t and I. XXX Luv ya

I have an iPhone 6. There was a huge learning curve (I went from a Blackberry to an iPhone 4) but now I can’t see myself living without one. That said I got several “hits” when I googled “cell phones with keyboards 2016”. LG apparently still makes them (lg.com) and Verizon wireless had several choices listed on their website. It make take some time and effort but it looks like you’ll won’t be forced to give up the keyboard. (At least for now.)

  5. Six — yes, you can dream.

Mike — good to know! A part of me thinks I should just bite the bullet and get used to the touch screen. And I’m hearing so much good stuff about the Samsung s7. Guess I’ll have to see what I find at the Verizon store.

I LOVE your fully clothed jeans pose. That’s my favorite attire for my own spankings. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. A. — that’s right! I know you like that. Me — I don’t like the feeling of spanking over denim. Too thuddy.

I was considering the advantages you’d enjoy in a touch screen phone but then once again your bare bottom distracted me ๐Ÿ™‚ In the “Erica Swivels” image, I wonder: have you been spanked with your own belt? I know you didn’t use implements this time around, but the looseness of that belt is almost begging for it to be freed from the jeans and applied to your ready bottom.

In the name of science, I also wondered if you’ve ever flipped over that plastic sheet that your chair glides on to see what it’s like to sit on it with a spanked bottom? Sorry…inquiring mind just wants to know.

  9. Anonymous — ha! You know, I’ve been spanked with a lot of belts, but never my own. As for that plastic sheet — ye gods, what a diabolical idea! However, I checked out the underside — the nibs are actually very hard and sharp and might even break skin. Besides… I think post-spanking is the time for aftercare, not more pain. ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Erica, I also hate touch screen keyboards. I have a BlackBerry Q5 with the best of both worlds – a touch screen plus a physical keyboard. When our modem died, it was useful for reading emails for both of us because I have a data plan as well as phone service.

Well you know how it is with kink and technology. From 50 shades of nerd:

Sally Tents to Johnny Nerd,” I have been a very bad girl, I deserve to be punished”

John is response,” yes you certainly do deserve to be punished”

With that the proceeds to install Windows 8 on her laptop.

Your new favorite picture is now mine as well. Very fetching!

I too am about to swallow hard and accept new technology. Tomorrow I’ll get an I-phone SE. Not eager but it is well past due.

  14. MrJ — aw, thanks.

Hermione — Steve had a Blackberry and then upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy. He curses it all the time! But John loves his Galaxy. Go figure.

Anonymous — ha! I never dealt with Windows 8; I still have 7. They keep pushing me to upgrade to 10, but… you know. Don’t wanna.

Mouse — good luck! I’m an Android and PC girl myself. My one concession to Apple is my iPod.

Love your new pics. Hand spanking is really the traditional method so the purists should approve. I think you look great in jeans btw.
I know you are set on Galaxy phones but I thought I would make you aware of the Motorola Moto G. It’s an unlocked phone so you can use it with any carrier you like. Very nice HD screen and it’s affordable. I just bought one last month and love it. I didn’t want the 2 year payment plan they wanted to put me on at att. when I added up the payments for a new Galaxy it was over $600. Just a heads up.

  16. Chibob — I still like hand best of all! Yeah, I know the Galaxy is super expensive, and that’s my one deterrent. I like Verizon, so I will stay with them. I know I need to go to their store and test out some phones, but I’m sitting here putting it off!

I’m using Windows 7. Installed Windows 10 and uninstalled it after one day didn’t like it one bit.

  20. I also dislke using touch screens. Have had an Android with touch interface for about three years and it still bothers me. My next phone will probably be a BlackBerry just so I can get back to a physcial keyboard.

Regarding the Windows upgrade, I decided if I have to change and get used to a new way of doing things, I’m going to do it on my terms. So I have switched to Ubuntu. a little bit of a learning curve, but no worse than Windows 7 to 10 was. Plus I’m finding my computer runs faster now, which is a nice bonus.

When I got my desk top computer 3 years ago, Windows 8.1 was already installed. I HATED it and I took several months to navigate the way I like. NOW every day alerts pop up to install to Windows 10. A few months ago I tried it for a few hours and hated it even more than 8.1. Also, touch screens suck ass. They’re too sensitive when unwanted and don’t key properly for me at least-several tries are required for a person with no patience for fuck ups. LOL

Well, both were founde in Africa, so they’re in similar neighbourhoods. Ubuntu is an operating system (like Windows 7 or Apple’s OSX). It’s designed to be secure, easy to use and it’s free to try/install. Plus it doesn’t nag you to upgrade. http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop
