Erica Scott: Life, Love and Spanking

Ruminations, opinionated observations, darkly humorous blathering and the occasional rant from an outspoken spanko and unapologetic attention wh–, um, hog.

This should be interesting

Talk about polar opposites. Tomorrow afternoon, John and I are invited to his neighbors’ three-year-old’s birthday party. It will be in a public park. Lots of noisy toddlers and harried parents. And hopefully dogs. There really needs to be dogs to get me through this.

After a couple of hours of that, we’ll come home, rest up a bit, then change and head out again in the evening. This time, we’ll be heading to spanking party in a dungeon. πŸ˜€

From kiddies to kink! Some switching of gears will definitely be in order.

I really am glad there are a couple of hours in between. I’m picturing having to go straight from one to the other, and showing up at the first event in my evening wear. laughing

I am hoping the second event will be fun. I haven’t played for a while, so I’m looking forward to a couple of scenes. And I’m in a celebratory mood. πŸ˜‰

What am I celebrating? Hmmm…

Oh yeah, that’s right. I had my annual eye checkup this week. No change in my eyes, perfectly healthy, don’t need new glasses. Awesome! Also, John had a badly infected finger, which always freaks me out because of his heart condition (infections spread to his heart very easily; it’s happened before). But he went to the doctor, got it treated and got antibiotics, so he will be fine.

(What did you think I was celebrating?)

Have a great weekend, y’all. β™₯

  2. I hope that there are dogs to help you get through the toddler’s birthday party today and that you have some fun at the second party this evening. Will we see an update later? As to your cause cΓ©lΓ¨bre, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that, like me, you’re relieved to finally see that a certain orange menace may at long last be seeing some consequences for the seemingly endless list of his dirty deeds. Have a wonderful weekend!

Bob — I hope both will be fun — at least the first one will have pizza! If there’s anything interesting to update, I will definitely do so.

PD — no worries. I don’t do pranks. Most of them aren’t funny.

Prefectdt– (snort) Why would they want to come here? If I were from another planet, I’d take a look at this place and say, “Eff this, let’s go home.”

Kids AND dogs? No, that’s too much! I’d use my safeword more at that park than at the dungeon. LOL

Actually I like kids and get along well with most, but I do prefer them singly or in very small groups. Big parties bring out the worst in their little mob-mentality brains. LOL Dogs on the other hand? I don’t care if it’s one or 100…….keep them quiet and at a distance. Or better yet, just don’t have any at all.

(Coincidentally, I just had a nasty shouting run-in with a dog walker on my last fishing excursion. I saw this guy with unleashed dogs who were running up to everyone in the parking lot barking and carrying on and as they approached I asked him to please keep his dogs away from me. This reasonable request seemed to upset him though, and he began to lecture ME that if I disliked dogs I was in the wrong place!>>>>>I didn’t know that wanting to fish meant also wanting to be barked and jumped on by some smelly fur bag.<<<<< I truly believe that some dog owners are the worst pet-keepers of all. They are the only ones who seem to feel that everyone should love their pet as much as they do. Most reasonable pet owners love their own pets but seem considerate of those who don’t. Rant over. LOL Later that same day I encountered several dog walkers who were way more friendly and considerate and all had their animals under control, either with leashes, or verbal command and we all exchanged pleasant greetings.)

Have fun though, and don’t get bit…….by a dog OR a toddler. LOL

    • KD — oh dear! I do love dogs, but I wholeheartedly agree, there are some dreadful dog owners! Some people shouldn’t have kids (but they do), and some people shouldn’t have pets (but they do). I find something so soothing about petting a sweet and friendly dog. They can be so loving.

I had fun at both events. Turns out I needed my safe word on the freeway going to the evening event — we got sideswiped and whoever it was took off into the night. More on that at another time — we’re both okay. The car is drivable but sustained a lot of cosmetic damage along the driver’s side. (sigh) Always something…
