Blogger can kiss my ass!

And welcome to my new WordPress home. I am still trying to familiarize myself with this site; it’s certainly a different setup from Blogger and some things haven’t been exactly intuitive. I still can’t figure out how to embed links, so I’ll paste Lisa’s link like this (you can copy and paste it): http://lisapietsch.com/services/la-carte-services/ She’s the woman who did the transfer for me; she’s great! But I’ll be checking out the tutorials and help sections and so forth, and I’m sure I’ll figure it all out in time.

Meanwhile, glad to see y’all here! Please update your blog rolls with this new address, and look for some fun stuff soon!

Just for a taste (and to show that I figured out how to insert pictures), here’s a shot from Steve’s visit today. 😀

I went over to the kinky-blogging version of WordPress sometime in 2013, the first time that Blogger started disappearing our blogs. I didn’t want to take the chance that all my posts would just not be there one day, so I put them where they’d be safe. My Blogger site is still there, but if they make it private I won’t worry about it. Hell, I was so under the radar I don’t even have the adult warning on mine, and nobody has said anything. LOL

I have a WordPress blog stub, created so I can use my WordPress account to comment on WP blogs. I might consider moving too, although WP might institute the same action on their blogs someday.

I spent some time browsing the themes of WordPress yesterday. I’m just not sure how easy it is to change things like that once I get started. I may try to use the export/import tools myself first…but I definitely want to try to keep the comments intact. Anyway, glad you got the transition out of the way before your trip! One less thing to stress over. 🙂

Yes, I know it’s been awhile since I’ve commented on anything. Just wanted to say good luck with the move, So far so good I guess. It does suck what Blogger is doing.
